Hey girls,
I am still feeling very springish! :) Have you seen my guest post over at Parokeets blog? I have made some tulips in sunset. Lovely Gejba invited me to make something cute for her blog and I love tulips so much I just had to use this MoYou design. Anyway, today, while waiting for a huge nailmail, I am showing you more Dance Legend swatches. I have swatched Reptile from the Mortal Kombat Collection and did a cute bamboo nail art. Check out all the details after the jump.
Reptile - is a green termo nail polish with additional green shimmer and green green/gold/copper flakies. It changes colors from emerald green when arm to dark green when cold. I must say I prefer its dark cold look. I don't have much termos in my stash, so this one is certainly something unique. The formula is awesome, I needed only two thin coats to reach the opacity I wanted. The application was also very easy. I just couldn't warm up my hands for a long time, so there are no pictures of warm Reptile, but then after some time, while I was doint the nail art, the shift appeared on my ring finger, so I will show you a macro shot of it.

Now let's move to the nail art! I left the reptile on my ring finger, and cleaned the rest of my nails. The I applied my new Catrice - Blurred Limes. I think this colour is perfect for a bamboo related manicure, right? I applied over it a coat of Poshe.
While I was waiting for it to dry, I made some panda decals using Bundle Monster BM-424 plate. I used both panda designs - one for the ring finger and one for the thumb. They are filled in with Kleancolor White nail polish.
I stamped the bamboo design from the same plate using Mundo de Unas - Caramel stamping polish. Then I used my MoYou London Suki Plate 08 and stamped another bamboo design over it using Mundo de Unas - High Green - on the ring finger I used Mundo de Unas - Avocado. I applied the panda decals using Essense - Sealing Top Coat, and applied one coat of Poshe to finish my manicure. You can get Mundo de Unas stamping polishes from the Hypnotic Polish online shop.
What do you think about this lovely polish? I am considering to get the other two from this Mortal Kombat Collection - they look really cute. And I love how my panda manicure turned out. Hope you agree with me. Please, feel free to share with me your thoughts, I will be very happy to hear from you!
<3 Stay tuned <3
I think that Reptile has a beautiful color and a nice crelly effect, but the matte finish doesn't go well with it. It's much more beautiful with a top coat...
ReplyDeleteBut the panda is adorable!
I love the matte effect however... I always prefer matte finishes when it comes to any kind of flakies inside :) And thanks a lot for the compliment! <3
