It is Tuesday again, and it is time for a guest blog post! :) Last time, we heard from Victoria, and this time it is Cassis from the Nails by Cassis blog. She is one of my favorite bloggers, so I am really glad she said yes to my invitation to write a guest post! Lets see what she has for us - just right after the jump.
Hi everyone! My name is Cassis and I am the
owner of the blog 'Nails by
Cassis'. I'm from Japan
but currently live in Australia.
I'm so thrilled and excited when Tara
contacted me if I would like to do a guest post on her blog. Both Tara and I
share the love for stamping, and I really admire her beautiful nail arts and
drool worthy swatches.
This is actually my first time doing a guest post, and I was wondering what sort of nail art would be appropriate to be on Tara's blog. I don't do much freehand, so it has to be stamping. I finally decided to incorporate the mixture of what I love - holos, studs, and tapes. Here is the finished product.

For this mani, I started off with three
coats of 4 different Dance Legend polishes from Wow Prism collection - Just
Another Star (pointer), Holy Diver (thumb and middle finger), Last Serenade
(ring finger), and Inhale (pinkie). Then for middle and ring finger, I placed
two sets of straight tapes I bought at What's
Up Nail Art Store to shape a little rectangle on my nails, painted black
over the rectangle part, and peeled the tapes off immediately.
Then once the black part is dry, I placed masking tape so only the black part is revealed, and stamped a leafy pattern from Chez Delaney Floral 003 plate using Mundo de Uñas Silver. I used gold striping tapes to outline the stamped part, and added 2 black square studs I bought from eBay. Finally I finished off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat. For other nails, I simply stamped the same image with Mundo de Uñas Black.

It's the middle of summer where I live, and
we are having a perfect sunny weather to wear holos. I couldn't decide which
holo to wear, so I used different colours for each nail. I reckon it's a fun
look :)
I love using tapes on my manis whenever
possible. Yes, they are annoying and make a mess sometimes, but they help us
create edgy and different looks at the same time. Same applies to studs as
well.
That's it! Hope you enjoyed my nail art, and thank you Tara for having me here on your blog!

Wow. I love this design. I wish I could use thin tapes like this... So beautiful!
