Another week has passed, and it is time for a guest post again! :) I am presenting you Anna from My Nail Polish Nights blog. She is a friend of mine, great girl and does wonderful nail art! :) She has prepared a post for you today showing you some romantic and vintage nails. Let's see them - after the jump! :)
Hello lovelies!
It's Anna
from My nail polish nights. I'm really happy to be invited by
Tara to write a guest post for her awesome blog. Thank you darling! Here's what
I've prepared for you.
When I
asked Tara what manicure style would fit her blog, she answered that she's
interested in vintage patterns and styles now. And also that I can do something
for Valentine's day. I tried to combine the ideas and created a simple mani but
with vintage and romantic mood.
I came up
with the idea of a nail art that would remind me (and you) of a night date.
Imagine: you two are walking at night, you're wearing a black dress and your
favorite jewelry, your date gives you a bouquet of roses... I think it's
classic and never comes out of style.
The
manicure I made is all about this: there are the colors that resemble the
beautiful atmosphere of a romantic night date; there are the roses that are
supposed to please you during the whole week till the next date with a bouquet
;)
For my nail
art I used my first polish by a Russian cosmetic store's own brand, L'Etoile. I
love this metallic one! It's shade is hard to be described – it's neither gold
nor silver – it's kind of beige/nude metallic. I love its combination with
black, 'cause it looks softer and more elegant than gold + black. Do you agree?
The roses
are combined with the rest of this mani through the leaves, which are painted
using the same metallic beige polish as for my ring finger. These are actually
my best freehand roses so far, and I love how real (I hope) they look.
That's it!
It's great that Tara's carrying out this guest-posting interaction. I hope you
like it as much as I do. Thank you for reading my guestpost.
What a lovely manicure!!!! I love it! The combination of colors is amazing, I couldn't imagine a better post when I said to Anna that I would love her to do something vintage and romantic! What do you girls think? :)
Stay tuned for more guest posts soon...
