2015 VALENTINE'S DAY CHALLENGE: GLITTER HEARTS

Hey hey out there,

Today is time again for a challenge manicure! :) Hell yeah! Today's topic is GLITTER HEARTS. Now, this was a difficult topic for me, but I said, I will give it a try anyway. So, instead of glitter hearts, I did some hearts over glitter. I think the mani turned out just fine. I was looking for some nice Valentine's colour combination, and my I got stuck on Mundo de Unas Red Wine. So I was searching for some matching glitter polish, and found one. Read the entire post to see what I actually did here! :)

For the base, I used F.U.N Lacquer - Prima Donna from the 1st Anniversary Collection. I was in doubt a bit about this one, because I wanted firstly to use its holo sister, but I think these glitters pop out better. I applied two coats over one coat of China Glaze - Spring In My Step. I applied one coat of Poshe over it to make it dry fast.

Bottle shots:

As I have a lot of heart designs, it was hard to choose only one, so I used three. The pinky and the index design is from my DRK-A plates, the ring finger design is from MoYou London Festive Plate 20 and the middle finger design is from Bundle Monster BM-H18. All of the designes are stamped with Mundo de Unas Red Wine, which you can get Hypnotic Polish online shop. I added some dots to the middle nail hearts, and finished the mani with a coat of Poshe

What do you think about this? :) I like the combination of designs and the glitters... oh... those glitters! :) Love them! These F.U.N Lacquer glitters are one of my favourites. Feel free to leave a comment, I would really like to hear from you!

Stay tuned for some more Valentine's nail art :)

  2. This is not your Mom's valentine mani! It is beautiful, striking, and easily distinguishable from the ordinary, slap-a-heart-stamp on top of polish gig. Nicely thought out and executed. I luv it!
