2014 IN THE EYES OF THE BEAUTY OF NAIL POLISH

Hey ladies,

2014 is past now, but I like looking back, comparing things and searching for more challenges! So I prepared some BEST OF stuff for you today! :) Hope you will like it! :)

BEST NAIL ART

I have prepared for you a short review with my top 30 manicures of the last year. It was really hard to choose, since I did more than 150 nail art manis - keeping in mind the fact, that I haven't been using nail polish for 5 months, since I had issues with smell of the polishes while I was pregnant. So basically, it is 7 months and 150 nail art manicures. I think that is not bad at all. Here is a collage of the manis I like the most! I have to admit, that my favorite is the tropical mani with palm trees and dolphins (the one on the top left!!), because I was wearing that mani when giving birth to my son - it was not planed at all! :)

 

BEST NAIL POLISHES

My nail polish stash has grown in the 2014 enormously! I have about 600 polishes at the moment, I finished last year with less than 300!!! I know.... It is a lot, but the most of my new goodies I got for a review. I started swatching and reviewing polishes and plates this year in mid October, so actually my stash has grown in the past two months. Considering all the beautiful indies I got it was impossible to choose top 10 or top 20, so I have decided to make a separate category of indies. And, here are my top 20 polishes of the year.

MOST USED STAMPING PLATES

This year I bought loads of plates for stamping. I don't dare to think about it too much, because you know.... I will start counting the money etc... And I really don't want that. I can say with no hard feelings to any other plate producers, that in 2014 the most popular stamping plates were MoYou London plates. They became a must have in every bloggers stash, and with all those unique ideas, designs they made a huge fuss in the nail bloggers world. I was wondering, from where are they actually getting all the ideas for the images, because I haven't seen anything like that before... Just for the record - my first MoYou Plates were Festive plates I bought in 2013 in December. Now, I have 45! And I still want more... :) It is really crazy! :) Besides MoYou London plates, I discovered Pet'la Plates and Cici&Sisi plates. Both are great and I can not wait to start using my Cici&Sisi set more often (I was using mostly MoYou and Pet'la in December because of the challenge). Here are the 10 plates I have used the most this year (I am showing you each plate with the mani I liked the most - not the best quality of all the pictures, but I did my best to find them!)

DISCOVERY OF 2014 - MUNDO DE UÑAS

Best stamping polishes ever. I have heard a lot about them in the past, but was never really so much into stamping as this year. After some research, I said I shall try them and I have contacted Sylvia - the owner of this amazing brand from Mexico. She sent me six of her stamping polishes for testing and reviewing. From the moment I received the package, I was in love with these polishes. Since then I got some of these pretties at Hypnotic Polish online shop, since the only bad thing ordering directly from Mexico is super slow shipping - I waited more than a month for my package. This is it! :) This is how I saw 2014 year! There were ups and downs (mostly ups :)), and I am looking forward to new challenges and manicures in 2015!!
