TUTORIAL: GRADIENT WITH TROPICAL STAMPING

//Provided For Honest Review//
Good evening ladies!

For today I have prepared another video tutorial! And yes, it is about my gradient technique, because I was still getting so many questions about it that I thought it is the best to do a video and show you the entire thing. For this mani I have used my Topatopa plate for the first time, and I am really excited about it, because it worked great! :) So, if you would like to see the details, check the post below.

I have started with a coat of Catrice Brightening Base and waited for it to dry completly. Make sure to wait for the base to be completly dry, because otherwise, the fan brush will make a huge mess instead of a perfect gradient. In the meantime, you can apply the liquid latex to your cuticles.

I have also prepared a peace of plastic (you can use a palette, plastic bag...), a fan brush and pure acetone. For this particular gradient I have used four polishes: Essence - Indian Summer (peach) and three Darling Diva Polishes from the Pop Back to the 80's Soft Neon Collection: Puffball (pink), Pretty Bit (purple) and P.C. (blue). Always try to choose the closest colours possible. As you can see, I am always using at least three polishes for the gradient, because that way the transition is really perfect.

I applied a drop of each polish on the piece of plastic, and took my fan brush to make the gradient. Make sure to pick up as much polish as you can (but not to make it to thick), because otherwise it will be too dry and won't work. Than just apply the polish on the nail. Again, wait that the first coat is completly dry before you repeat this step. You can keep repeating this until you are satissfied with the gradient. I did two steps, because all the polishes I used have a great opacity. I finished this step with one coat of Poshe fast drying top coat. The crucial thing here is not to forget to clean the fan brush, because once the polish dries on it, it is really difficult to clean it.

I chose my new Topatopa stamping plate 01, and the palm tree design. This is my favourite design when it comes to summer nail art. I loooove summer sunsets with palm trees! I am crazy about them! The plate itself has four full nail designs and two smaller images. The plate itself is totally tropical, and I can already see myself using a looot this summer! :) I stamped the design using Mundo de Unas - Black stamping polish. You can get MdU polishes from Mexico directly or some of their stockist (for Europe those are Hypnotic Polish and Nailland Hungary).

I removed the liquid latex using tweezers. I cleaned up the little mess left using a flat brush and pure acetone. In the end I applied another coat of Poshe top coat.

This is it! :) I really hope the explanation isn't too complicated, if it is, just watch the video below!
ENJOY!

Thank you for reading and stay tuned for my further nail art, swatches etc...
LOVE!
