SWATCHES: ILNP - HOLO ULTRA CHROME FLAKIES COLLECTION - PART 1

//Provided For Honest Review//
Good evening ladies!

Finally I am showing you the first part of the ILNP Holo Ultra Chrome Flakies Collection. I think that now I can die and go to the nail polish heaven cuz these babies are so pretty! I am sad a bit, that I can not show you all of them at once, but swatching them and editing the photos requires a lot of time, which I don't have always. Anyway, I tried to put them in some color range order, so check out the entire post to see which 5 polishes I have prepared for you today! I did some comparisons too, so make sure to read till the end! :)

Firstly, the bottles! Oh my... I could stare at them probably for ages! So eye-catching, right? From left to right: Superova (H), Gaia (H), Success (H), Open Fields (H), Rapture (H). When I first saw them, I immediately knew I will love them, although I don't own much of the original ultra chrome flakies. I am so excited to show you the remaining ten in the next posts. :)

Rapture (H) - is a holographic version of the original Rapture. It shifts colours through beautiful subtle hues of silver and blue, but its primary colour is gold. If you ask me, the shift isn't really that strong, but the amazing holo sparkle makes some justice to it! The shift is stronger if you are looking from sone crazy angles, and I just couldn't capture it well. As usually, the shift is stronger in softer light, and the holo in direct light. Swatches are showing two coats over black base polish.

Open Fields (H) -  is a holo version of the original Open Fields. This one is my favourite from the five I am showing you today. It shifts through a vibrant grass green, golden yellow and cool blue. It looks really awesome and the shift is super strong. I just added the original one to my wishlist! :) Swatches are showing two coats over black base.

Success (H)- is a holo version of the original Success. It shifts through green and silver effortlessly and gives off hints of a lovely pink scattered flakies studded with rainbow sparkles throughout. The pink colour appears the best on the pinkie (first photo), but on the macro shots as well! Very pretty! I can also see some hidden shades of blue there, but if I am wrong, please correct me! Swatches are showing two coats over black base.

Gaia (H) - is a holo version of the original Gaia. This one is very close to Open Fields when it comes to the shift, but there is no golden yellow in this one. The shift goes thought different shades of green and blue. The shift is also very strong, and the holo effect is amazing and gives to it some additional depth. Swatches are showing two coats over black base.

Supernova (H) - is a holographic version of the original Supernova. This polish is truly magical. It has an extreme colour shift. It shifts through shades of blue, teal, green and violet. Its original sister was my first ultra chrome flakie, and I loved it a lot (just behind Electric Carnival!) so I was really curious how would the holo version look like. And I am not disappointed! Great job Barbra! As I own the original version, I did some comparison swatches as well. Pictures are showing two coats over black base.

Here are the comparisons of the holo and the original version of Supernova. As I am a huge sucker for holos (I think I am writing that almost in every holo post! :)), I like the holo version better. I also got some requests to try layering a coat of a holo top coat over the original version and then do the comparison, so I did those swatches as well. My conclusion is, that there is no alternative to these holo flakies. Why? Because the holo top coat (at least mine, which is actually not meant to be a top coat, but until now it worked perfectly) makes the original version more gray and the shift is less visible. The holo effect remains the same though, but I think that the colour shift is what matters here!

All in all, I like these holo beauties. I must admit I was wearing Supernova (H) for two days (I know, it is unacceptable, but I was really tired of swatching, sorry!) and I loved it each day more! Can not wait to see what happens to Electric Carnival (H) which I am wearing currently! :) The formula was great with all of them, I could have used probably only one coat and it would be enough for a decent look. I am really satisfied with them!

The pre-order has unfortunately ended yesterday, but they will be availabe at the end of the month I guess again. The price for these babies is $12,50 which is a normal price for indies like these!

Hope you enjoyed my post, and I am already looking forward to all your comments and suggestions!
