Good evening ladies,
Today I have swatched for you one of the ILNP Ultra Chrome Flakies. This is my favourite polish from the flakies collection so prepare for a picture heavy post. I have this polish for almost two months now, but didn't have time before to swatch it. And as I will be getting its holo sister soon, I decided to swatch it. It is the one and only - Electric Carnival. I have two more from this collection waiting to be swatched - I promise to finish them as well soon, so I can compare them later with the holo version. I have update my manicure with some Dance Legend - Top Aquarelle nail art. Details - after the jump!
Electric Carnival - is a red/pink/green/gold shiffting flakie nail polish. And the shift is definitely amazing and very strong. It can be worn on its own, but I prefer layering it over a dark color,, because this way the shift really pops out. The application is very easy. I have layered one coat over Catrice - Black To The Routes.

Looking at this stunning polish I was wondering what nail art could fit with it. As I am really in a spring-summer mood, I wanted to stick to some bright stamping. And then I saw in my Helmer drawer the MoYou London Tropical 02. I stamped three different designs from this plate using Mundo de Unas - White. Then I painted the flowers and leaves using Dance Legend - Top Aquarelles: Dali, Levitan, Tiziano and Matisse. I added some white dots using OPI - Alpine Snow and finished my manicure with one coat of Poshe.
What do sou think? Do you like the nail art? I tried to match some of the shifting colours of this ILNP beauty. What would you suggest? :) ILNP polishes are now available at Nailland Hungary as well, so make sure to check them out! :)
Stay tuned for more ILNP swatches and nail art!

I absolutely love this mani. The leadlighting is stunning. Tell me how do you apply your leadlighting polishes? When I do mine I find the result is a bumpy nail even after two coats of seche vite. Can you give me any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteHm... I am filling it up with a dotting tool, but I am trying to get it as thin as possible, and I don't have problems with bumpy nails after tow coats of top coat. Try maybe using a sponge. I know it works for some ladies. I use it only when I don't have to pay attention to the details and borders :)
DeleteAnd thank you so much for the compiment!
OMG, I am freaking out when I see this amazing polish. I absolutely need this in my life, it is magical!
ReplyDeleteLove the effect of the stamping on it. Great macro pictures!
Thanks maybe I'll just try thinning them out
