NAIL ART: FROZEN NAILS

Good evening ladies,

Oh, what a day is behind me. I am tired like hell, but I said I must post this pretty manicure I did yesterday. Yesterday I got some new plates - Infinity Nails by Dashica. These plates are new to me, so I was even more excited. And the plate I was most excited about is the Frozen plate. I have created a total Frozen look with it, and I love it! :) Check the post to see the details!

I was looking into the blue Helmer drawer, and I just wasn't really satisfied with any of the colors, so I said, hey... why not use a holo for base. I opened the holo drawer and immediately saw this beauty. It is Picture Polish - Cyan by Chit Chat Nails Marta, which I got from the Nailland Hungary online shop. I will include some swatches here as well, cuz I just can not stop drolling over it :)

In order to make the base bit more icy, I sponged some random spots over it using Zoya - Prim, Dance Legend - Through The Glass and F.U.N Lacquer Pay Day. Because the base colour dries really fast I didn't have to use any fast drying top coat.

The base was set, now I had to make some stamping decals. I did them using my regular technique - on a baking paper. All images are stamped with Mundo de Unas - Black stamping polish that you can get at Hypotic Polish online store. I stamped for different designs, using both of the mirror looks from the Infinity Nails Plate 111. For Olaf I used OPI - Alpine Snow and China Glaze - Papaya Punch for his nose. Then for the trees on my index nails I used OPI - Alpine Snow, Zoya - Prim and Catrice - George Blueney.

Now the ladies. For Anna I used China Glaze - Oxygen and Catrice - Fresh Love Affair for her skin. Blush is Sally Hansen - Peach of Cake. Her hair is Kiko 370 - Hazelnuts, and her dress is Appeal4 - Pink Sunrise. Here is a macro shot.

For Elsa's skin and blush I used the same polishes as for Anna's. For her hair I used China Glaze - Kalahari Kiss and her dress is just the base color Picture Polish - Cyan. I also did a macro.

Here is a macro of Olaf as well. How cute is he? Am I right? :)

No picture of my thumbs though, because I am incapable of making good photos of it. But for the record, I stamped some icicles on it using Mundo de Unas - Iris and Essence - White. I transfered all the decals using Essence - Sealing Top Coat and finished the manicure with one coat of Poshe.

So, what do you think about this manicure? I spent two hours on it, so I am definitely not doing my nails today - I think it is just too pretty to wear it only for one day! :)

I would really like to hear from you, so feel free to share your thoughts with me!

  3. Ohh, the mani is awesome, mega pretty! Love the details! This would be a stamping plate for me too, because my daughter is a big fan of this movie and she asked me to paint on my nails Elsa. I did, but in my opinion it doesn't look like her.
