No swatches today! :) Just nail art! :) Are you excited to see what I have been working on yesterday evening?
I was in contact with a lovely girl from Austria - Victoria (you can follow her Instagram account @vickerl and her blog) , and we decided to make some twin nails! Because I am always full of ideas, I decided which plate we are going to use for decals. I made it first, then she recreated it, and I think they both turned out extremely good! We agreed on a light base color, and red flowers! The rest came out as I was looking into my Helmers searching for right colors!
We both used light champagne color holographic nail polish as base. I used one of my favourite indie polishes ILNP Iconic. Then I did some decals using my MoYou Explorer Plate 03, which was also a Christmas gift from a blogger, who is somehow very special to me. :) So, the flowers are painted with OPI German-icure by OPI, for the leaves I used China Glaze Cha Cha Cha and the yellow polish is from Catrice Earnie & Birdy. There is some white in between - it is a random white nail polish, I am using for making decals! :) When the decals were dry, I applied them on my ring and middle fingers. I used Essence Sealing Top Coat to do the application of the decals - this is the only thing I know it works for sure! :) On the rest of the fingers, I just added a dotted line with the same Catrice yellow nail polish. I finished the manicure with one coat of Poshe top coat!
My manicure turned out like this:
And Victoria came up in the end with this:
What do you think about this manicure? :) Do you like it?
Anyone for some twin nails? :) If you want to do some bestie manis with me, please feel free to contact me! :)
