Hello once again! :)
As I have promised you, I have some awesome swatches to show you. On Monday I got a gorgeous package from Literary Lacquers. Amy sent me her newest collection to swatch it. It is called the 2014 Community Collection. This collection consists of 8 beautiful nail polishes, of which 7 are holographic polishes and one is shimmer polish with flakies. All of the holos are super strong linear holos, so if you are looking for that kind of thing, look no longer! :) The collection is made in cooperation with 8 different bloggers, who expressed their nail polish wishes through favorite literature.
I won't make this post any longer with writing, because I am dying to show you these pretties. So let's see firstly the bottles:
From left to right: Porco Rosso, The Ruby Thief, Effie's Trinket, Grasshopper With Cotton Candy, Always Winter Never Christmas, Attic Mice, Fallen Tributes, Lurid Fog

And here is a collage of swatches! :) Check all of them below!
Porco Rosso - is a brick red linear holographic polish with gold and taupe flakies. It is designed by Schette of Schette EssaisBeauté. Gorgeous nail polish made with lots of love. I like those flakies in it, they just give the polish a bit different dimension. The formula is good, maybe a bit thicker, but definitely easy to apply. I used three thin coats for the swatches below.

The Ruby Thief - is shimmering ruby pink polish with glass flecks and flakies. It is designed by Jenne of Polished Pathology. Well, somehow this is my least favorite, because it isn't a holo. It would be much nicer if the entire collection would be holographic. BUT - the shimmer in this one is stunning. And don't liking it just because it is not holo, doesn't seem fair. The formula was also a bit thicker, but I didn't have any problems with the application. I used three coats to reach the wanted opacity.

Effie's Trinket - is A bright pinky-purple linear holo with a subtle pink shimmer inspired by The Hunger Games. It is designed by Heather of Drowning in Polish. I am huge fan of purple holos, so thumbs up for this one! I could say this is my favorite from this collection. Yes, although I like blue very much! :) Awesome formula and easy application. I used three thin coats for the swatches below.

Grasshopper With Cotton Candy - bright grasshopper green linear holo polish with pink and blue flecks inspired by The Dresden Files. It is designed by Cate. Well, there aren't much bright green holos, so this one is some sort of unique as well. Those tiny flecks are really nice, and much more visible in person than on the photos. However, I think I captured those photography enemies quite well. The formula was also good and the application very smooth. It was opaque in three thin coats.

Attic Mice - is a creamy medium grey linear holo inspired by Flowers in the Attic. It is designed by Jess - @nailsinthecityy. I love that blue shimmer in it. What I like about this one is that is clear that it is not a silver holo - I somehow have a lack of gray holos - so this one is perfect for all of you who want something a bit different. Since the formula is also great, the application was very easy. I applied three thin coats for the swatches below.

Always Winter Never Christmas - is an icy silvery blue linear mega glitter holo inspired by The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. It is designed by Kirby of The Mercurial Magpie. Ok, this one is close to the bright purple one. Those mega glitters are just amazing. They leave you speachless, trust me. When you look at your nails, that shine - OMG. Just look at the swatches, and you will see what I am talking about. The application was smooth. It was fully opaque in three thin coats.

Fallen Tribute - is an indigo blue linear holo with gold flakies and a copper shimmer. it is designed by Jennifer of 4Boys 1Mom Lacquers . This one is also one of the favorites from the collection. Amazing gold flakies, and I am really happy I managed to capture them on the photos. The application was very easy and the formula is also good. It was opaque in two coats, but I layered another one just to make the color a bit stronger.

Lurid Fog - is a slate grey linear holo with a strong purple shimmer from two different sized pigments. It is designed by Jen of xoxo, Jen. Oh, that purple shimmer killed me! In positive sense of course! It is amazing and super strong in person + the holo effect = perfect nail polish! The formula is awesome and the application was also easy. I used three coats to reach full opacity.
