KIKO 497 - PEARLY INDIAN VIOLET

Good morning girls,

Finally again some time for posting! :) Well, I must be hones, I liked my previous Halloween manicure so much, that I thought it was a pity to wear it only one day. That is why waited until today to do my nails! :)

Today is again time for some swatching! I opened my Helmer and randomly chose one polish - it is Kiko 497 - Pearly Indian Violet! It is a deep dark purple polish in a blue base - perfect for the autumn season. It reminds me a bit of OPI Russian Navy, but it is slightly lighter. It has some micro purple, blue and pink glitters and a bit of red and pink shimmer. The shimmer itself is more visible in the bottle, where the polish looks almost completely red. I will have to do some comparison of the two. Maybe, OPI Every Month Is Oktoberfest can fit to this comparison as well, but I don't own one - yet! It is on my wishlist for a long time now!

Anyway, the formula of this Kiko - and all the others as well - is superb. I love the way how the brush literary flows on the nails! I needed two coats, but I guess it would be opaque in just one single thick coat!

Here are the swatches!

Soft light - without top coat

Direct artificial light - without top coat

Soft light - with Poshe top coat

Direct artificial light - with Poshe top coat

Hope you like the photos, because I wasn't really sure they give a complete picture about the polish, but I ended up liking them! :)

Stay tuned for more swatches and nail art - soon! <3
