Good evening everyone!
Today I have some amazing swatches for you guys. It is the Daphine Polish - Angels & Demons Collection for Fall 2014. Daphine Polish is handmade indie nail polish made by Joanne. And I must say, she did a great job with this collection! Be prepared for a picture heavy post! :D
Angels & Demons Collection represent some of her favorite angels and demons from TV shows and movies. The collection is an 8 piece collection, split into 4 duo sets - each one consists of one dark holographic shade and one glitter topper. The polishes can be worn alone or in set. When I found out that she is making four dark holo shades I was very happy, because there are not so many dark holos available on the nail polish market!
On the first sight, I thought Joanne sent me 2 exact same polishes, but the I looked better and saw the difference! :) It is amazing how just a little is needed to make a variety of polishes!
Enough talking, lets move to the swatches! The polishes are swatched in pair and the glitter polishes are swatched in way to give you some basic ideas how to wear them! Check out all the swatches after the jump!
Angel - from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel - is a gunmetal grey holographic nail polish. The formula is good, maybe got a bit thick int he end of my applying process, but I didn't have any troubles with the application. The holographic effect is much stronger in person than on the photos below. I needed two coats to reach full opacity.

Illyria - from the TV show Angel - is a blue glitter nail polish in a clear base. The glitters are of different sizes and different blue colors. The color represents her blue tinted hair and skin. The application was great, very smooth. I applied two coats over Angel and realized they make a perfect match! Love this combination! You can see how the blue glitter adds some blue undertone to the base color as well. All glitter swatches are with top coat, because I can not really imagine wearing a glitter polish without it!

Illyria applied over a light nail polish. I used China Glaze At Vase Value.

2nd duo - Crowley and Castiel
Crowley - from the TV show Supernatural - it is a dark blue holographic nail polish. This one looked at first sight just like Angel, but when putting it on the nail, you see the difference. Blue is my favorite color, so so far this is my favorite dark blue holo. The holo effect itself is very strong. The application was good, the formula is also good. It was opaque in two thin coats which is very good, since I like this polish a lot, and don't want too use it up fast! :)

Castiel - from TV show Supernatural - is a taupe and black glitter topper with a hint of red blood sparkle. It fits perfectly to Crowley and I would totally wear these two together! The formula is good, application as well. I applies two coats over Crowley.

3rd duo - Metatron and Azrael
Metatron - from the Dogma movie - is a dark green holographic nail polish with gold shimmer. Very unusual color but perfect for the season. The shimmer is even more visible in person than on the pictures, but they show it off quite well I think. The holo effect is very strong. Both the formula and the application were good. I needed two thin coats for full opacity.

Azrael - from the Dogma movie - is an iridescent and white glitter topper with red crystal glitter and red shimmer, which represent the blood on his hands. Perfect glitter topper. I swatched it over Metatron, but prefer wearing it over light color - I swatched that as well, don't worry! :) From the glitters in this collection, this is my favorite, although it was hard to choose between Illyria and this one. The formula on this one is good, no problems with applying. This is two coats over Metatron.

4th duo - The Beast and Weeping Angels
The Beast - from TV show Doctor Who season 2 - is a deep blood red holographic nail polish with gold sparkles. This polish is great! The formula, the application, the holo effect, the sparkle - everything! Just gorgeous! This is my first red holo in my stash - and I own quite a few - but I think I should browse the entire internet searching for red holos now, because this one is very nice. This is two thin coats.

Weeping Angels - from Doctor Who TV show - is silver, gray and black glitter polish in a clear base. I like the way how it looks over The Beast, that is why I haven't swatched it in a different way. Application was smooth, the formula good. I applied two coats over The Beast.
