I decided to stick to the summer themes :) So I wanted to try some water marble again, in order to get some nice ocean waves. Now, you tell me, if you like them :)
Firstly, I painted my nails white, with China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around. For marbling, I used China Glaze Adore, China Glaze Splish Splash, and Zoya Noel. At the end, I applied Seche, for the glossy finish.
For the first time, I was able to do the whole manicure in an hour and half, which is quite great for this type of nail art :) me proud :D But I have to admit, that I have finally chosen polishes that work great with water marbling, otherwise, I think, I would spend more time doing this.
Hope you are enjoying the summer as well :)

My inspiration ;)
That's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you sweety :) Yes, well, it took so much time, till I figured out how it works :) But now, it is just perfect :)
DeleteBravo Tara!
ReplyDeleteIt inspires me to try again too.
PS: Finding the right polish is my problem. Especially in a brand I can afford.
DeleteAny suggestions for me?
When I pick 3 or 4 colors that accent each other; they won't expand or not ALL of them will. FRUSTRATES ME!!!
Ok, firstly, thank you for encouraging me :)
DeleteI had problems with watermarble like a year and a half... I decided then, to try out al the polishes, how they spread in water... Now, I know, so I try to use those polishes :) For example, my holos from Color Club Halo Hues do not work properly with this kind of nail art, and I am so sad about it, because it must look stunning when it is done :)
Try to choose polishes from the same collection. For example... China Glaze Neons and Romantic work great with water marble. But you really have to be patient, I it is worth, trust me :)
And make sure that the water you are using has the right temperature, that might be also a reason.
Hope I helped you a little bit :)
